The Harmonia Baroque Players present many educational programs to all levels of audience, from elementary school children to college music students. We perform at libraries and community centers to family audiences, also in senior centers, various clubs and organizations.
These informal programs are not only educational but also very entertaining. The musicians talk a little about their instruments and play short selections on them. Then they play some music from the medieval, renaissance, baroque, and contemporary periods, and usually finish with some lighter, fun number.
The program is completely flexible. The musicians can number from 2 to 6, and the length can be anywhere from 30 minutes to a full-length concert (90 minutes). The actual content of the program is custom tailored to each audience.
